Do It….

ImageIt’s not about doing something once….
It’s about doing something consistently…
Even when no one believes in you…
Even if people make fun of you….
Even if you are hurt, shaken or lost…
Even if you don’t know where to go….
It’s just about moving on…..and on….

Determination is a hard thing….
But a much needed thing….
Without it…you are not what you are…
Because what you were yesterday….you may or may not be today….
It’s about being “who you are” over and over again…
Then people will recognize you…
Identify you…
Respect who you are.

Be consistent. Be determined. Be You.

Let the fire stay alive.

God likes Comedy! :)

Believe me, God likes Comedy! How can God not like comedy? He would just stress a lot, if he only handled the complaints and unending requests of other people!!

God likes to add a little bit of comedy, excitement, fun and mystery to our lives. That is why, when you take a route thinking that, there will be less traffic, you find more traffic instead.

When you prepare for an exam and are 100% sure of doing well in it, suddenly you hear there might be a retest, due to some funny reason.

When you are sure you will land a particular job, suddenly you get an interview call from a better company.

Isn’t all this funny? Destiny wants us to have fun and not take life so seriously.

So what – if things don’t go our way, it does not mean there is no other better way.

God wants to have fun with us, and teach us in the process. He is too smart to deal with! He is all-knowing and omnipresent. How can someone run away from him?

Life is full of comical people, stories, instances and co-incidences.

For a very long time, I took life very seriously. Everything I did, had to be as per the ‘rules’. Slowly, I started having fun. And now, in my work life and personal life, I try not to get attached to successes or failures. I just try to work hard each day.

I follow my passion. If someone laughs at me or hurts me, I feel God is laughing at me and there is definitely some lesson behind it. I can improve.

Life is a lot of fun, if you live one moment at a time. Imagine that all people around you are movie characters. Observe how their stories are unfolding.

Look at the expressions of people travelling on the metro. Smile. Smile – more often.

Thank God for everything. Relate with his comical side and be strong to bear everything. Life is not forever but it’s all worth it! Life is fun and God is a true friend who pulls your leg every now and then! 🙂

One journey ends…and another begins….

Image
Life is a journey. When you travel from one place to another, do you remember the ‘start and end points’ OR ‘the things in between’?

Sometimes we even forget, how ‘it’ started or when ‘it’ ended…. All we remember is… It happened sometime and we had fun! We remember the beautiful moments in between.

When one journey ends, another one begins that very moment.
It is important to value each journey and understand that journeys are fun when they are full of surprises! (Some good and some not so good)

Journeys have the power to create memories. Journeys teach us a lot of things.

It is important to enjoy each journey and it is also important to disconnect from it and connect to a new one, when the time comes.

We may remember the people we meet during these journeys. Many of them could be strangers, some of them friends and some of them acquaintances.

The lady in the cafetaria, the librarian, the store keeper, the teacher, the student… these may be our co-travellers in the journey.

We don’t even know for how long, we will know them or stay in touch with them. However, we can remain in their memories since we share the same journey. These memories stay alive even when the journey is over.

Down the line, they may think about us and say, “Oh! I have met him/her before! and he was…….(cute/funny/sad/happy/angry/furious/nice…)”

We are not related to all the people we meet, but we do travel together for a period of time.

I read somewhere that “We are all traveling towards the future at the rate of 60 minutes per hour!” and we all need to make the most of every minute.

It is important to mark each journey with smiles, laughter, fun, joy and giggles. These emotions shall later transform into memories and stay with our co-travellers! That’s how they may remember us and we may remember them.

Are you ready for your next journey? How are you planning to enjoy with your co-travellers? Are you ready to create happy memories?

When one journey ends, another begins. That’s life.

You’ve lost it! ;)

The moment you think… you’re not peaceful… or you’re not happy… the peace and happiness that exists within you is lost!

The moment you think you are less than others or do not have the ability to succeed… you’ve lost the power and motivation to succeed….

“Moment”… is a small droplet in the ocean of “Time” …. but isn’t this all we have?

A moment has the power to change your life! Your destiny! How can we underestimate the power of the moment??
While you think you are not capable of achieving your goals… you’ve already lost some precious moments…

While you’re busy thinking what others are doing, you’ve lost the moments in which you could have done something.

Each moment… Think that you are peaceful, happy and content.
You are living just for this moment…. as it will never come again…

Let me share a small story: I met a person in the office cafetaria one day. He was constantly tapping his feet and browsing on his phone while the cashier was collecting his credit card and swiping it on the machine. He seemed very restless and did not stand still. I did not know who he was. I was standing behind him and asked him, “You seem very busy and in a rush” He said…”I’m a very busy person. I have lots to do. I have to do something right now. I can not stand idle. I have to keep myself busy.”

I had a little smile on my face. I said…”Well… you could just stand and think.”

And then the cashier gave him his credit card and he left….(in a rush) 🙂

I think …he was trying to over-utilize his present moments… 🙂

Spend your moments wisely… and more importantly …peacefully… Be at peace…be content…be hopeful…for the next moment…
Plan for good… Plan for a better future.. a better moment…

I was driving back from work one day and while taking the exit, the car in front of me stopped suddenly..  I stopped too and then the car behind me stopped! It was scary for a moment…..but…it happens…The car in front of me had a sticker on it.. “Jesus listens” 🙂

These moments make you realize.. Life is too short…. Its just a collection of moments. Its a package. Its like an empty bag and it’s up to you, what you fill in that bag!

Fill each moment with colors, hopes, dreams, excitement, fun, joy, peace, love…. Fill them so that you’re happy… each moment.

The reason I named this article.. “You’ve lost it! ” is because…. Next time, when you are not happy or peaceful… think how many moments you’re losing…. Moments that could change your life…

One more small peace of advice.. Don’t be angry for too long.. whether its your fault or not.. it’s not worth it…! It’s just not worth it! Saying sorry never makes anyone small. Not saying sorry (when it is really not your fault) does not make anyone big. 🙂

Don’t let life say to you…. “Sorry dude.. you’ve lost it! ” 😉 🙂
