Everything begins with the seed…
God creates the seed but the “Power to sow, power to nurture and the power to kill” lies in the hands of living beings.
God is just creating the seed, which grows into a flower, then a fruit and then the seed again…
Some people say that God is giving birth and death but that’s not true…. Birth happens when a living being plants a seed in the earth and death happens when a living being out of his own will, or through an accident or due to health issues… gives up his/her life…
The world is based on free will…. and that is Karma…
God has given the choice of “Doing/Not doing” something to YOU…
YOU ARE THE OWNER OF YOUR LIFE AND DESTINY….
You will REAP whatever you SOW…. That is the law of KARMA…
There are points in your life when you just look back and wonder…. “What did I learn from all those years?”…. You look back at your childhood pictures…. pictures of your parents, brothers, sisters, family, friends and then wonder…. “I wish I could GO BACK…just one time”
No one can go back. That’s the rule of nature…
But think, when you were in those moments of your past…. Did you really appreciate them for what they were? (Playing with your friends…. swinging on the swing… Eating your favorite roadside snack!)….. Did u really appreciate them?
Do you now appreciate where you are, what you are doing….how far you have come…
Do you complain about life every now and then?
Is it too difficult to appreciate life? Is it too difficult to realize that every emotion, every moment, every little thing that you do or are able to do, is PRECIOUS and PRICELESS!!
No price tags can be attached to life or any moment of life!! It’s just too too too precious!! …. and it just slips from your hands while you are worrying or complaining or cribbing….
Appreciate everything….. EVERYTHING…. EVERY single emotion…. Every single feeling…. Every single thought….. Even if it is a thought of anger or jealousy or greed….
Appreciate the beautiful emotions like love, happiness, peace, joy, beauty, laughter….. But do not forget to appreciate the negative emotions as well….
They are just two sides of the same coin!! One cannot exist without the other…
Laughter has its meaning because there are tears…
Happiness has a meaning because there is sadness…
Kindness has a meaning because there is harshness…
Positives and negatives both are supposed to exist…. Because this variation…. from positive to negative and then to positive again is LIFE!!!
U have to appreciate both sides of the spectrum…. Because this spectrum of emotions is what makes life!!
IMMENSE Appreciation for life means you appreciate the entire spectrum…. all the colors… all the phases….. everything positive and negative about life!!! You don’t dislike any emotion. You accept and appreciate everything!!!! THE ENTIRE LIFE!!!!! – with all its shades….. rainbow, black, gray and white!!
Imagine if trees didn’t have roots…. if trees could just freely move from one place to another…. all the plants, shrubs, trees…. they all could travel and move along where ever they wanted…. Wouldn’t it be chaotic? Then we would need traffic rules for trees too… Procedures on when trees can cross roads…. when they can travel abroad…. visas for trees and so on…
But the reality is that trees stay connected to their roots…. they eat their food and water from the earth… do photosynthesis…. give out oxygen and finally die at the same place….
Trees don’t have unlimited wants and desires like traveling to Australia and London and all the other places….
Trees are happy staying connected to their roots, doing their work, making food, giving out shade and oxygen and finally dying….
Man on the other hand is doing just the opposite… Man travels… becomes greedy for things…. wants more and gives less and …. IS LOSING CONNECTION to their ROOTS…
Our roots are:
Respect for each other and humanity
Love for family members and friends
Peace in the society
Appreciation for what we already have
Thankfulness towards God!
Can we not stay connected to our roots? Can we be a little less greedy? Can we try to take less and give more…. Can we do service more than serving ourselves…?
The more we stay connected to our roots…. the less we NEED from the world….!! Less we get worried about and more peaceful we become!
Tell your kids to stay connected to the human roots of love, honesty, sacrifice, patience, satisfaction and thankfulness! Then they will need less from the outside world…!! They will crave less and worry less….
Teach them to ASK before they hug a friend…. by just saying… “Can I hug you?”
Teach a boy to ask a girl before he holds her hand…”Can I hold your hand?”
Teach a girl to take consent too before she approaches a boy she likes.
CONSENT… such a small word but it holds such a deep meaning….
It means the other person is allowing you to do something with his permission and with due respect.
It means you are not doing anything to hurt the other person unintentionally but ASKING them first.
It means they respect your body, your emotions and your feelings.
How would you feel if someone just pounces on you and gives you a hug?? Wouldn’t you feel better if they seek permission and ASK you first. Wouldn’t that be a more comfortable emotion?
Many times we assume that just because he/she is my friend, I can hug him… or do anything…. Who said that is right and who gave you the right??
Human body seeks RESPECT. Just like you wouldn’t like if someone hurts your feelings or your mind…. same way you should not hurt anyone’s feelings or mind.
CONSENT means the person is mentally ready for what you have asked them to do.
Most forms of harassment or assault come when there is “lack of consent.”… When someone is forcing their wants, their desires or their physical presence on someone else….
CONSENT between all parties means they have agreed to do something willingly and there will be no second thoughts or guilt about it.
CONSENT is a BIG POWER and everyone SHOULD ASK for consent before approaching anyone…. especially when it’s something related to their body.
A lot of friends….even kids… touch each other’s hair…. each other’s faces …. without ASKING for CONSENT…. This later makes them feel ashamed or harassed….
TO ASK… is a form of RESPECT…. IT MEANS YOU ARE EVEN READY TO HEAR “NO” and will not MIND/DISREGARD A PERSON just because they said NO.
When we used to watch the religious indian TV serial… “Ramayana”… there was a sentence that was used in it a lot of times…. students often said to their teachers and parents before leaving somewhere… It was…“Aagya deejiye..” which meant…”Please give me permission to go”. It was a sacred form of respect.
This form of permission should be taught by parents to kids….right from childhood so that when they grow up… they learn to SEEK permission from their friends, their boyfriends/girlfriends and also their spouses.
It’s good to ASK… It’s RESPECTFUL to ask… IT HELPS TO ASK…. AND IT’s THOUGHFUL TO SEEK CONSENT….
Don’t differentiate between relationships between kids or adults… Human body must be respected in all forms…. IN ALL RELATIONSHIPS….
THAT IS THE ONLY WAY WE CAN PROTECT OUR KIDS…. IF WE TEACH THEM TO TAKE AND GIVE CONSENT….. Only and only this can stop all forms of Physical and mental abuse.
A lot of religious scriptures say that birth and death are in God’s hands. God decides when to give birth and when to give death to a person.
Is there any proof of all of this?
We know through science that producing kids is a scientific phenomenon. Everyone can read about it online if he/she wants to increase his/her knowledge.
God is not deciding when you would like to have a child. It’s up to you!
It’s how much self control you have on your mind, your senses and your body.
Today we are living in a society where there are so many crimes against girls. Girls get pregnant at a young age…. There are various forms of physical and mental abuse on girls. We, AS A SOCIETY have to take RESPONSIBILITY for these acts… both good and bad.
If a boy abuses a girl or hurts her physically, it is HIS OWN mentality, HIS OWN urges and HIS OWN illiteracy and greed. THERE IS NO REASON TO BELIEVE THAT someone was driving his thoughts or his actions. IT WAS HIS OWN DEED.
Similarly, if a girl harasses a boy in any way, it is her own DEED. THERE IS NO REASON TO BELIEVE THAT someone was driving her or influencing her or her friends were influencing her.
ULTIMATELY, IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY.
WE HAVE TO STOP ASSUMING THAT GOD OR A SUPERPOWER IS RUNNING THIS UNIVERSE. Only then WE WILL TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR OUR ACTS.
So many girls are getting raped and physically abused…. some even get pregnant out of those abuses…. If Birth and Death was in God’s hands…. GOD WOULD NEVER EVER make any girl pregnant without her wish…… GOD WOULD NEVER EVER take advantage of anyone’s situation.
GOD is a name given to the force of life to guide us and do good, educated, well thought of deeds.
God is not FORCING Anything on us…. God is NOT deciding anything for us…. GOD is not running the cycle of birth and death…
So, if old scriptures say…. “Birth and death is in God’s hands…”…. THEY ARE WRONG….
Reproducing kids is a power that has been given to human beings….. THEY HAVE TO USE THIS POWER wisely….
THE ONLY REASON WHY THERE ARE SO MANY CRIMES AGAINST YOUNG GIRLS AND BOYS IS BECAUSE….. People abuse their own physical powers…. and later say…..“It just happened… I could not control myself…”…. WHAT THE HELL??
If a person cannot CONTROL himself and his urges…. HE/SHE should get medical treatment for that…. Whether they are physical urges or mental urges…There is NOTHING WRONG in getting TREATMENT…
Some people CANNOT stop thinking negatively or thinking pervertedly….. THEN IT IS A PROBLEM OF THEIR MIND AND THEY NEED TO GET TREATMENT FOR IT!! They need to see a therapist…. DO NOT HESITATE FROM REACHING OUT TO PEOPLE WHO CAN HELP YOU…. Start talking about your problems… whether physical or mental….
Everything starts in the mind…. If you cannot control your senses, your urges and your actions…. TAKE THERAPY… TAKE TREATMENT….
BUT FOR GOD’s SAKE…. DONT ABUSE ANYONE PHYSICALLY OR MENTALLY….
For GOD’s sake, respect each other’s bodies and the power that you have been given in these bodies….
If your hand stops working or if your eye stops working….. YOU CANNOT PAY ANY AMOUNT OF MONEY AND GET THOSE BACK….
HUMAN BODY IS PRICELESS…..
Take responsibility for your actions and do not abuse ANYONE. Do not hurt anyone.
BIRTH AND DEATH IS NOT IN GOD’s HANDS…… Birth should happen when two people give each other the consent to produce more children and Death happens when scientifically, some organ stops working in the body or it is met with an accident etc.
WE CANNOT BLAME GOD FOR KARMA AND THE RESULTS OF KARMA….
IT’S YOUR LIFE… YOUR BODY…. YOUR MIND and YOUR KARMA….
A lot of people say that if you have two kids, a boy and a girl, then your family is complete. Why do they say so?
Wasn’t or isn’t the family complete with one kid or no kids? What’s wrong in that? What about families with two girls or three girls or two boys or three boys? There are so many variations but why is it that only a family with a boy and a girl is classified as “Perfect”?
Why do we have these definitions of “a perfect family” and a “a perfect world” when we all know that none of us is perfect.
I lived in India for the first 25 years of my life. I have heard people (especially some poor people) get disappointed when a girl child is born. They continuously produce babies, so that they can get one boy child.
Boy and girl are just two human beings. They are EQUAL. They are perfect just the way they are. The world SHOULD offer EQUAL opportunities, EQUAL RESPECT and EQUAL LOVE to both genders.
Even families with special needs kids are perfect. Families that have love in their hearts are PERFECT in spite of living with their imperfections.
ALL FAMILIES ARE PERFECT JUST THE WAY THEY ARE.
The one and only reason that you should bring a life into this new world is because YOU RESPECT and LOVE LIFE! … and you want this world to flourish and grow.
If you don’t RESPECT LIFE… if all you’re going to do is make that new human being’s life miserable…. then please DONT bring a new life into this world. They are not coming into this world to suffer or to struggle… they are coming into this world to Enjoy…. to love… to share….to breathe….to just LIVE their heart out…. That’s it…. They are not destined to do any KARMA….. They are just coming into this world to experience life in its entirety!!
LOVE KIDS… Love them with all your heart…. ALLLLLL YOUR HEART…. They are such beautiful and gentle creatures….. Like a blank slate that you can fill up with love and happiness…. They have no inhibitions… no rules about this world…. no opinions…. They just start showering love as soon as they are born….. Let them BE…..
All kids are perfect….. the differently abled….and those who are sick…..and even those who live for even a few minutes before they leave this world. THEY ARE ALSO PERFECT!!
Please spread love and acceptance as much as you CAN…..
Society and work are just arrangements for people to live collaboratively and support each other. There might be even something BETTER THAN that ….. that we realize in future!

Who made the tradition that when a girl gets married, she has to leave her parents house and move to the husband’s house. Why can’t the boy move to the girl’s house? What is wrong with that?
If women are now equally financially independent then even this rule should change some day. Sometimes the boy can move in to the girl’s house and sometimes the girl. Why always the girl??? There should be equality in that too. Maybe 6 months they can live at the girl’s house and 6 months at the boy’s house.
Why are girls expected to sacrifice their name, their relationships, everything that belongs to them, just to get married to someone? Why can’t boys sacrifice sometime.
It should be a joint decision between the groom and the bride regarding where they want to stay and with whom. This should be one of the criterias when deciding a life partner.
The society has to change. Girls cannot be made to sacrifice all the time. They are also human beings, not puppets that u can just move around where ever u want. They have hearts too.
