Attachment is NOT the cause of all suffering.

A lot of people say “Attachment is the cause of all suffering”….. I would like to disagree to that.

Attachment is not the cause of all suffering….
It is attachment that makes us fall in love with our mom when we are a baby…
It is attachment that makes us connect to our family…
It is attachment that helps us connect to our friends…
It it attachment that makes us believe and understand that monetary things are not everything…

It is attachment that helps us remain grounded.
It is attachment that tells us that we need to stay connected to our family… our roots…our culture as much as possible.

It is attachment that helps us form lifelong connections…. throughout our life…
It is attachment that helps us understand the meaning of love…!

Attachment makes us shed tears when we part from our loves ones and go to a new place… Attachment tells us to reconnect with everyone….

How can attachment be the cause of all suffering?
It is the only thing we are trying to find in our lives…. some kind of connection with others… that helps us grow and helps them grow at the same time!

Attachment is not the cause of all suffering…. It is the reason for love, laughter and all the emotions we feel on a day to day basis.

Sure… attachment makes us cry sometimes… but isn’t crying for someone because you love them…. a beautiful emotion as well?

Don’t we all want to feel attached to some people in our lives and never let them go….

Don’t we all want to feel loved and valued and even missed when we are gone….

Aren’t we all looking for that deeper spiritual connection with our family and friends….?

Love is incomplete without attachment and attachment is not the cause of all suffering…

Attachment to places takes people to visit their old schools… old colleagues… old teachers… family members…

Attachment makes you understand that no matter if you have all the wealth in the world…. you would still want a gentle hug from someone who loves you….!

When you feel attached to people….. you stay connected in your hearts even when you are miles apart….!

Attachment does not lead to pain….. it creates these little bonds in your heart…. that you can reminisce and relive whenever you want….

I am happy that my daughter is attached to me and I hope she remains that way all her life…! Even if she goes miles apart from me….. That is the deeper connection I want to have with her.

God is the best parent…!

God is THE BEST PARENT! He is so so so…. protective about his kids that he keeps everyone’s journey special and just to himself. He does not reveal anyone’s journey or path to anybody else. He helps, guides, walks with us every step of the way….. does not let us fail…. and he always always always ensures that we are protected and safe. He continuously strengthens our soul with each passing day….!

Every single person on this earth…. every object…. every grain of sand…. every thing… visible and invisible is going through its own journey….. A journey of change….a journey of transformation that no one else can possibly decipher….

This change is not only driving the universe but driving our emotions… our bodies… everything….

Everyone knows the others superficially but no one knows anyone’s inner journey….

No one can know anyone else because it is such a precious and special journey that no one is supposed to know it better than the soul itself…. and sometimes even the soul cannot comprehend its own journey.

Just like a parent protects his/her kid and keeps their secrets private to themselves…. Similarly…. God keeps everything to himself.

There may be thousands of articles about some one in the newspaper or on TV…. yet…. no one can know their exact journey. Similarly, there may be thousands of videos around the globe about someone but no one…. absolutely no one can know their struggles or achievements…

Not just human beings…. the journey of every non living thing is also unknown…. Every object is also going through a series of transformations…. that no one is aware of…

No one owns anything…. so no one can own their entire journey…

I was reading how trash processing plants in the US process massive amounts of trash… recycle it and again sell it to manufacturing plants and factories for creating new products.

Who knows that the $5000 expensive photo frame that someone owns… may have gone through a journey through a trash processing plant and be made of recyclable materials….! Its journey is unknown!

An object has worth only till it is being used…. When it’s not being used or is not of any purpose, then it has no value…. no worth… monetarily or emotionally…. You have to let it go… back to nature… back to the earth!…. You have to let your loved ones go too…. on their journey… no matter how harsh it feels…

God does not reveal the future to anyone…. because if the future is good…. people will rush towards it leaving everything else behind…. they will become greedy… And if the future is bad…. they will not have the courage to move forward…. So God has taken full responsibility of the future… without revealing it to us.

Everything is moving forward by default…. There are no ifs and buts to it… There is no other choice for humans except to keep moving forward… having the faith and STRONGLY BELIEVING that their journey will only be their own. (And no one else will know about it… no matter what)

That’s how God protects his children in his loving ways….. that no one else can….

Not a Particle can stop changing…

Every particle on this earth is everchanging …. Not even a particle on this earth can stop changing.

Hypothetically, If a particle on this earth stops changing for even a millisecond, it will go against the laws of nature, the laws of earth…. the laws of change. So, NOTHING, NOTHING AT ALL can stop.

If you ever feel like holding time in your hands or just stopping something from changing…. You yourself, will get dissolved with change but you will NOT BE ABLE to STOP change.

You will burn yourself out…. get extinguished…. your own identity will turn into ashes but you WILL NOT be able to STOP change.

You will see everything changing around you…. People dying… catastrophes happening… earthquakes…. volcanoes… but you won’t be able to STOP any single thing.

You cannot stop your mind from running…. you cannot stop this EARTH from changing… It’s the only LIVING planet…

Stopping even a particle means eternal death of earth in that zone… So as long as there is LIFE on earth…. NOTHING CAN AND WILL STOP.

Phases will come and phases will go… seasons will change…. relationships will change…. children will grow…. You will grow old…. You will cease to exist…. New people will be born…. Life will continue… CHANGE will continue….

You will wish you could hold onto your loved ones….. hold onto some relationships that you cherish…. but you JUST CANNOT!!!! It’s against the rules of existence, survival, growth and life…

Be content and satisfied with the idea of CHANGE… else you will never be happy….

Who is creating this change? We don’t know…. We think we are but there is some power that is running this universe…. and deciding what should be done and what should not be done…

Existence of something creates change ….. but do you know that non-existence of something also creates change… When people die…. there is more change…. relationships change… work changes… finances change…

“Life” and “Death” are just two terms that we have given to the two visibly different stages…. but in reality….. Both are just forms of change….

One of the mysteries of nature (and science) is that why does time move in one direction only? Why can’t we go backwards….. WE JUST CANNOT….. That is a RULE of change….

Changes cannot be unchanged…. unless we lose the CONCEPT of time…. but EVERYTHING is timebound…. Nothing can eternally exist…..

Time is an existential measure….. It makes us exist. (From birth to death)…. In the lifespan we bring about a lot of changes… internally and externally…. and we say we have used our time.

The concepts of space and time were also created by man….we occupy a certain space for a certain time…. That is the only proof of our existence. If we lose our space… or turn into ashes… our time automatically gets over.

So time is space dependent … I think. As long as you are occupying space, you have time. Once you lose your space… no more time….

But… can we ever not occupy space….. If we are made of matter…. we will occupy some space…. in the form of solid, liquid or gas….

The atmosphere…. the thin layer around the earth…. is the reason for life.

No atmosphere… no life.

Every particle occupies some space for some time…. That’s the story of particles…. on our planet earth!
